WHAT MAKES LUCIETTA DIFFERENT?
Our wine is a top-quality pinot noir, not a “cheap” picnic wine. We are allowed to use the Willamette Valley AVA specification on our label because our wine meets the requirement of having a >95% grape content from the region. We are also offering a vintage wine (2017) and not a mix of wine from different years.
WHERE DOES THE NAME LUCIETTA COME FROM?
Lucietta is an Italian name that we came up with. Our daughter's name is Lucia and my husband speaks Italian. If you add "etta" to a noun in Italian it makes it "little". So translated our company name means Little Lucia. We think it's fitting for the single serve portion of our wine.
HOW SHOULD I SERVE THE WINE?
We like to pour it in a wine glass when we are able, but it tastes just as good straight out of the can. Remember, no rules!
DOES WINE IN A CAN TASTE DIFFERENT THAN WINE
IN A BOTTLE?
No! The cans used for our wine are lined for protection and do not add or delete any flavor from the wine. If you have a fantastic quality wine in a bottle it will still taste like a fantastic quality wine once canned. In fact, the wine is protected from light and oxidation to preserve quality.
HOW MANY OUNCES ARE IN A CAN?
Approximately 6.3 ounces per can. 4 cans equal a standard bottle of wine.
CAN WE PURCHASE LARGE QUANTITIES FOR EVENTS?
